Der VegTrug wurde entwickelt, um jedem zu ermöglichen, sein eigenes Gemüse oder Früchte anbauen zu können, egal ob Sie einen großen Garten haben oder nicht. Unterstützt durch schmale Spalten zwischen den Brettern des Pflanzkastens sorgen die V-Form und unser Pflanzvlies außerdem für eine optimale Belüftung und Drainage des Wurzelsystems.
Hergestellt aus strapazierfähigem 100% FSC® zertifiziertem Holz, ist der VegTrug perfekt für den Außenbereich. Eine wasserbasierte, Holzschutzlasur stellt sicher, dass Ihr Hochbeet lange hält und gleichzeitig alle von Ihnen gezogenen Pflanzen ohne Bedenken verzehrt oder Pflanzenreste kompostiert werden können.

We recommend treating all VegTrug wooden products annually from date of purchase. The most suitable product we recommend for the treatment of a VegTrug is the Protek range of water based preservatives, as it is food safe.
With Protek you can choose to keep the natural colour of the wood by using the Protek ‘Clear Tough Coat’, or you can stain the VegTrug with any colour from the range with a single coat of the ‘Wood Protector” range first and then a coat of the ‘Clear Tough Coat’ to finish.

We are pleased to confirm that all of our wooden products are manufactured from 100% FSC certified Cunninghamia lanceolata - this is referred to as many different names such as Chinese Cedar, Chinese Fir, China Fir but is in fact a member of the cypress family. We use this type of wood as it naturally repels pests, fungus and rot.
We recommend growing what you like to eat! VegTrugs are great for growing all sorts of fruit and vegetable plants and we can advise doing some research before planting to plan what you would like to grow. We recommend growing dwarf varieties (smaller plants) where possible to make the most of your space in the VegTrug.
Our products are designed to be static and we would not recommend adding castors to the existing product. The weight of soil in a VegTrug simply does not allow this to be done safely as the VegTrug design ‘locks’ together when filled with soil and is static. As soon as you move it, the momentum of that weight (if it was stopped quickly by a stone or step) would potentially break the product.
